Great with Coffee
These donuts go great with coffee or milk.
So well, in fact, it can be tempting to brew a pot of coffee at 10PM even when you have to go to work the next day. It's hard to beat a large, fresh donut from a good donut shop, but these packaged donuts are super-competitive in the taste department and have the distinct advantage of staying fresh over several days.
But they could leave behind "stuff" in your body that you don't want hanging around.
One Entenmann's Rich Frosted Donut has 280 calories and a quarter of a day's saturated fat, according to the label.
Already you can see it isn't a healthy snack, and that isn't the whole picture.
Each doughnut really has half a day's worth of belly-busting fat. The label has to disclose the five grams of saturated fat per doughnut, but the five grams of saturated fat remained hidden until this disclosure was required.
