Breakfast Crisps

Cinnamon for Breakfast Crisps

Use quick cooking oats for these delicious and healthful cinnamon sweet wake-up Breakfast Crisps.


1-1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened 1 egg


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 9x9 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, stir together oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter. Beat in egg. Stir mixtures together just until blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of pan comes out clean.
