Cinnamon-Raisin Oatmeal

Cinnamon and nutmeg in Cinnamon-Raisin Oatmeal

Cinnamon raisin oatmeal is a favorite that is particularly warming during winter. A very healthful way to start your day!


8 cups boiling water
2 medium tart apples
2 cinnamon sticks
1/2 cup raisinsbr> 3 tablespoons orange juice concentrate
2 cups rolled oats
Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish


Place all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.

Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.

Serve with a dusting of nutmeg.
