Soften the cream cheese a bit to help incorporate it with the marmalade.
Thoroughly blend the cream cheese and marmalade together until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency. Use a blender, if necessary.
When mixture is nice and creamy, gently stir in pecans or walnuts, if desired.
Delicious spread on bagels or English muffins, split and toasted.

One package (3 ounces) cream cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons strawberry or plum jam
3/4 cup whipping cream
Soften cream cheese; beat until creamy. Gradually add lemon juice, jam and cream, beating until thick. Refrigerate for about one hour to blend flavors. Recipe makes about 1-1/2-cup.
