This Sweet Fruit Omelet recipe uses liquid Butter Buds which brings you important advantages over other butter flavored oils. Use it like liquid butter to saute, grill, pan fry, baste or bake. Butter Buds products are all natural; contain zero trans fat; and are cholesterol free!
1 teaspoon liquid Butter Buds Butter Flavored Mix
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
8 ounces liquid egg substitute
1/2 cup fresh fruit pieces
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
In an 8-inch skillet or omelet pan over medium heat, warm liquid Butter Buds.
In a bowl blend egg substitute, sugar, and vanilla. Pour into skillet or omelet pan.
Cook, lifting edges to allow uncooked portion to flow underneath. When almost set, spoon fruit over half of omelet.
Flip or fold the omelet over carefully. Slide onto serving dish.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Recipe makes 2 servings.
