Paper Sack Chicken is a tangy and tasty chicken main dish you literally make in a paper grocery bag.
3 tablespoons catsup
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
Heat sauce. Dust cut-up chicken pieces well with flour, salt and pepper.
Grease the interior of a common paper grocery bag.
Pour sauce over chicken and put pieces in the bag. Fold and fasten the end, lay it on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
Slit sack open, fold it back and serve.
