Five Minute Banana Split

We all know how healthy bananas are - now use them to make a quick yet healthy Five Minute Banana Split.


1 4-serving size package fat free, sugar free instant pudding and pie filling, any flavor
2 cups cold skim milk or 1 percent milk
4 bananas, cut lengthwise in half
Reduced Fat Cookies
1 8-ounce tub lite or fat free whipped topping, thawed
Sundae topping
Colored sprinkles and maraschino cherries (optional)


Prepare pudding mix with milk as directed on package for pudding.

Place bananas in 4 dessert or banana split dishes.

Spoon pudding over bananas.

Top with remaining ingredients.

Recipe makes 4 servings.

Great for a quick, nutritious breakfast or even a healthy dessert!

Top a tortilla with Neufchatel Cheese and sliced banana. Roll up. Goes great with a cup of hot cocoa made with fat free milk for an added calcium boost.

Super Summer Treat

Banana Nut Milkshake: Blend 1 banana, 1 pint butter pecan ice cream, 1/2 cup toasted pecans, 2 tablespoons milk and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla.
