Macedoine of Seasonal Fruits

Macedoine of Seasonal Fruits of your choice with sweet white wine, fresh lemon juice and mint leaves for garnish.


4 cups assorted fresh fruit -- choose three or four from the following:
Bananas, peeled and sliced, mango, peeled, seeded and cut into wedges, Melon balls or cubes (cantaloupe or honeydew melon), orange or tangerines slices
Seedless grapes
Papaya, diced
Pears, diced
Pineapple chunks
Strawberries, hulled; halved if large
1 cup sweet white wine
Fresh lemon juice to taste (omit if using citrus fruits)
Mint leaves for garnish, if desired


Combine the cut fruit in large glass bowl, add wine, and toss to moisten fruit thoroughly. Cover; refrigerate one to four hours.

Remove fruit from refrigerator; let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes. Toast fruit; add lemon juice if necessary. Garnish with mint leaves before serving.
