Did You Know?

Currently, tomatoes are one of the most popular fruits eaten by Americans. Tomatoes are members of the fruit family, but they are served and prepared as a vegetable. This is why most people consider them a vegetable and not a fruit.

Artichoke Legend

The artichoke, according to mythology, originated when Zeus fell madly in love with - and was rejected by - a beautiful girl named Cynara. To punish her, he struck her with a thunderbolt and transformed her into the first artichoke!
