Kentucky Praline Popcorn

By definition, a praline is a cookie-size confection made especially of butter, brown sugar, and pecans that was developed in New Orleans in the early 19th century. This Kentucky Praline Popcorn recipe creates a praline inspired snack with an authentic praline flavor and healthful whole grain popcorn.


4 quarts popped popcorn
2 cups pecans, chopped
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar **


** For diabetic needs or calorie-sugar reduction you can use Brown Sugar Twin in place of the brown sugar.

In large bowl or roaster, mix popcorn and pecans.

PecansCombine butter and brown sugar in small saucepan. Heat, stirring in popcorn mixture.

Mix well to coat.
