Rice Packets

Cooked Rice for Rice Packets

Rice Packets are a nummy side dish with hot cooked rice and butter, ham, pineapple and barbecue sauce.


3 cups hot cooked rice
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup cubed cooked ham
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup thinly sliced green pepper
1/2 cup BBQ sauce


Combine rice and butter; toss lightly.

Add ham, pineapple, green pepper and BBQ sauce; mix well.

Place individual servings of mixture on squares of foil, bring corners together and twist. Grill or bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
