Broccoli Cole Slaw

Broccoli Oil and Garlic

Broccoli is the star of this Broccoli Cole Slaw with the unusual and unique additions of sunflower seeds and raman noodles.


1 package broccoli coleslaw
1 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup onions, finely chopped
1 package Raman noodles with spices
1/4 cup sugar
Lite Caesar Dressing mixed to taste


Mix dressing (only enough to moisten vegetables), salt and pepper, spices and part of the sugar in large bowl, then add broccoli coleslaw and onions.

More sugar and dressing can be added to taste, if desired.

Crush Raman noodles and add to salad with sunflower seeds. Let stand at least three hours in refrigerator to allow flavors to blend.

Recipe makes 6 to 8 servings.

Bonus: Quick Sesame Slaw

Mix 2 cups broccoli slaw with 1/4 cup red bell pepper slices, 1/4 cup chopped canned water chestnuts and one segmented orange. Add 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar and 1 tablespoons sesame oil. Total calories are 348.
