1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 4-ounce can chopped green chilies
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1-1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 15-1/2-ounce cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
3 cups reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth
3 cups cubed cooked turkey breast
In a large saucepan, saute' the onion and garlic in oil for five minutes.
Add chilies and seasonings; cook and stir three minutes. Stir in beans, broth and turkey breast. Simmer for fifteen minutes.

Alternative: Speedy Turkey Chili
In a non stick pot, place 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped red bell pepper, 2 minced cloves garlic and 1/2 pound lean ground turkey. Saute with 1 tablespoon oil until turkey browns. Add 2 tablespoons chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano and 1/4 teaspoon cayenne. Cook until fragrant. Stir in 1 quart low sodium broth, 1 rinsed and drained can (15.5 ounce) cannellini beans and 1 can (14 ounce) crushed tomatoes. Add 1 can (4 ounces) diced green chiles. Cook 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips and avocado.
