Spinach Quiche

Spinach Quiche

Spinach quiche with cream Feta and Romano cheeses seasoned with salt, pepper and nutmeg.


1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach
1 cup cream
1-1/2 cup Feta cheese, crumbled
eggs, beaten
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 tablespoons Romano cheese, grated
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons nutmeg


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a pie plate or quiche pan with nonstick spray.

Cook the spinach according to package directions; drain well.

Combine the spinach and all the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl; stir to blend thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the prepared quiche dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Food Fact

Spinach, bunched or prepackaged, needs to be washed very well before eating. The leaves and stems collect a lot of sand and soil.
