Blanch or steam the broccoli florets.
To make the sauce, mix the water with the mustard, honey, and pepper.
Toss 1/2 cup of sauce with the broccoli and serve.
Recipe makes 4 servings.
When purchasing broccoli, select ones where the stalks are tight and firm. The buds should be tightly closed and the leaves are crisp and very green. If the broccoli tends to have a very strong smell or if the leaves have a slightly yellow color, it can often suggest that it is old.
